Try Tai Chi at Helmsley Walled Garden

Take the chance to try Tai Chi with a qualified martial arts teacher at two separate taster sessions at Helmsley Walled Garden on Thursday 10th and Thursday 17th August from 10.30am till 11.45am. The outdoor sessions, open to anyone who’d like to give it a go, will be taught by Bryan Shewry who will lead group members through a series of moves accompanied by soft ambient music.
Bryan is a qualified Tai Chi instructor and has been teaching martial arts for over forty years. He has taught Tai Chi Chuan and meditation to a wide variety of students for twenty years and welcomes students with disabilities or other health issues. He runs the Helmsley Tai Chi Group which is open to local people of any age and ability and they are currently training regularly at Helmsley Walled Garden.
Anyone wanting to have a go should come to the Garden at 10.20am. Loose clothing allowing free movement is a must. Take advantage of our special offer, for the normal admissions price of £7.50 you get both entrance to the Garden and your Tai Chi session.
